Eager to the latest update in relation to the Apple iPhone 8? Here is one for you. It states that the upcoming smartphone from Apple is going to be smaller in size than the bigger variant of its immediate predecessor. Although this is nothing too significant for the fans who have been keeping an eye on all the developments related to the Apple iPhone 8, this will definitely hint at how things are shaping up.
The news which has been leaked by Benjamin Geskin in a report on iDrop News states that the reliable sources from Apple have come up with some crucial information regarding the dimensions of the Apple iPhone 8. If we take a look at the dimensions of the devices, we can spot the differences clearly, although not highly prominent. The dimension of the Apple iPhone 8 as stated in the report will be set at 143.59 x 70.94 x 7.57 mm which is a bit thicker than the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, despite the fact that the screen will be smaller in size. The dimension of Apple iPhone 7 Plus stands at 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3 mm.
When compared with the basic variant of the latest available iPhone, the upcoming one, as expected, will be a larger one. The Apple iPhone 7 has got dimensions of 138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm which clearly indicates the truth of the statement.
The report further suggests that Apple iPhone 8 will hit the market with a screen smaller (but with edge-to-edge display) than even the Samsung Galaxy S8+ as well. However, that minute difference is estimated not to make much of a difference in the quality at all. Along with that, the image has also revealed that there is going to be a dual-lens rear camera. What looks really surprising is the fact that the LED flash has been placed in between two lenses. That looks a bit unusual. Also, speculations are there the fingerprint scanner is going to be placed on the front of the device, on the display. And for certainly, the handset will run on the soon to be launched iOS 11 operating system.
However, like always despite the fact that the source has been revealed to have connections with the inner world of Apple Inc., as long as there is no official word, it can’t be finalized how the Apple iPhone 8 will look like. Thus, the wait must go on for a bit longer now.
